Epoch Microelectronics, Inc. is led by the experienced members of its Board of Directors. Providing critical insight into the analog, RF and mixed signal IC markets, business strategy and management, Epoch's board is committed to the growth and success of the company.

Masao Hotta is a Professor at Musashi Institute of Technology, where he teaches on the subjects of high performance ADC, mixed signal LSI design and wireless systems. From 2003 to 2005, Dr. Hotta was a General Manager of the Advanced Analog Technology Division of the Renesas Technology Corporation.

Dr. Hotta’s experience in the semiconductor field includes more than 27 years with Hitachi Ltd. He began his career with the Central Research Laboratory conducting research of high-precision monolithic D/A converters with resolution of 14 bits. His research continued into the development of high-speed A/D converters for video use and ultra-high speed D/A converters for high-definition display applications. At Hitachi, Dr. Hotta held positions that included Manager of the Advanced Device Development Department, Semiconductor Technology Development Center, Semiconductor and Integrated Circuits Division and Senior Chief Engineer & Senior Manager of Advanced Analog Technology Center, Semiconductor and Integrated Circuits Division. He brings extensive knowledge of RF power amplifier modules, RF transceiver LSIs, mixed signal LSIs, and advanced analog cores for SoC.

Masao Hotta received his M.S. (1973) and Ph.D. (1976) degrees in electronics from Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. Dr. Hotta has served on the technical committees of CICC, BCTM, and ASIC/SOC Conferences, and he is a fellow of IEEE.

Charles Henry Still is a Senior Partner with Kelly Hart & Hallman L.L.P. As a member of Epoch’s Board of Directors, Mr. Still brings to bear his expertise in corporate finance and securities law, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate governance matters.

Mr. Still is a director, and member of the Executive Committee, the Compensation Committee (Chairman) and the Joint Conference Committee (immediate past Chairman), of the St. Luke's Episcopal Health System and St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston. He is also a director of the Free Enterprise Institute, an active Houston-based non-profit educational institution.

Ken Suyama is the President and co-founder of Epoch Microelectronics, Inc. Prior to founding Epoch, Dr. Suyama served Columbia University as a Research Scientist and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Dr. Suyama’s technical interests covers all facets of analog and radio frequency (RF) integrated circuitry including RF integrated circuits, data converters, CAD for switched-capacitor circuits, RF MEMS, etc. While pursuing his doctoral degree at Columbia University, he worked on CAD software called SWITCAP2 for simulation of switched capacitor circuits which is used in many companies and universities. Dr. Suyama has coauthored more than 50 technical journals and international conference papers and holds a few patents and patents-pending.

Dr. Suyama is also President of the Board of Trustees for the Catalyst Foundation, which fosters doctoral level inter-disciplinary university research that incorporates the area of electrical engineering. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE).

Ken Suyama holds both M.S. (’82) and Ph.D. (’89) degrees in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 1980.
