LNA/MIX/VCXO (GSM)
In 2005, Epoch has taped-out an LNA+MIXER+LO as well as VCXO in 0.18um CMOS for cellphone applications.

The challenge of this work was to meet stringent specification of a cellphone RF IC in a very short time.

Epoch team took 6-man-months to complete the circuit design & layout.
LNA/MIX/VCOLO (WLAN)
In 2006, Epoch taped-out LNA/MIX/VCOLO block for WLAN transceiver IC in 0.13um CMOS process.

The VCO operates at 10GHz and the design features integrated regulator for low-pushing and phase adjust circuits for the calibration of sideband suppression. The LNA/MIX is a dual 2.4G/5G band design.

The challenge of this work was to achieve low current consumption and low chip area and wide tuning range for VCO. The Epoch team took 8-man-months to complete the circuit design & layout.

ZIGBEE: TRANSCEIVER

In 2006, Epoch was working on high-frequency blocks of Zigbee Transceiver in 0.15um CMOS process.

The challenge of this work was low power current consumption and low-area in a pure digital process without any RF-options.

The Epoch team took 19-man-months to complete the circuit design & layout.
