Epoch has achieved 1st pass silicon success during development of ITS transceiver for V2V/V2X automotive communications.
Digital baseband was supplied by the customer and Epoch developed the RF transceiver, and performed top integration of the SOC.
To achieve success, we reused IP building blocks such as PLL, bandgap references, LDOs, frequency dividers, lowpass filters and programmable gain amplifiers. Building blocks were ported and tuned to target operating frequencies.

Direct up conversion transmitter with AM detector for LO-leakage, sideband suppression, image rejection calibration thru loopback mode.
Programmable fractional-N/integer-N mode frequency synthesizer with VCO auto-band calibration.
10-bit 35MHz DACs/ADCs.
RC-calibrated channel selection and reconstruction filters.
Temperature sensor for baseband.
